Project 1: Evangeline’s Costume Mansion

This project required providing insights about how a local business could expand and/or pivot their current content efforts to reach a national audience.

My Role: Marketing Plan Developer, Researcher, and Content Creator
Tools Used: Google Search and Analytics; Hoth Keyword Research and Gap Analysis; Competitor Research.
Tasks Involved: Develop Executive Summary, Campaign Goals, and Objectives for Local Business to Reach a National Audience; Conduct Content Audit and Content Gap Analysis; Provide Insights, Observations, and Identify Opportunities for New Content; Keyword and Headline Optimization; Mock-Up of Content for Blog, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Project 2: Ikiru Livable Clothing

A digital marketing strategy was created for a new sustainable clothing brand, Ikiru Gear, to introduce the brand to the market.
My Role: Digital Marketing Strategist
Tools Used: Google Search; SEMRush; Hootsuite.
Tasks Involved: Develop Company Overview and Value Proposition; Conduct Market and Competitor Analysis; Persona Development and Audience Targeting; Data Visual of Customer Journey; Identification of Digital Strategy Objectives and KPIs; and Creation of Content Mock-Ups.

Project 3: Working Animals Retirement Network
Group Project – Digital Marketing Plan and Website Development
My Role: As part of a five-member group for a major digital marketing bootcamp project, I took the lead in the following areas: Logo creation for both website and social media; tagline creation; initial build of website; heavy website content creation; heavy graphics/imagery contribution for website and social media; creation of Facebook and LinkedIn content; site map generation; initial value proposition and executive summary development.

Tasks Involved: Develop Digital Marketing Plan for Fictitious Business Containing Marketing Plan, Business Overview, Marketing Strategies, and SEO Recommendations Conduct Keyword and Competitor Research; Using WordPress, Plot and Build a Website from the Ground Up to Serve as Home Base for Marketing Efforts of the Business; Create Website Architecture, Including Wireframes and Layouts, and Website Content; Create Logo and Branding Elements; Develop and Deliver Slide Deck Presentation.
Results: Our group received a 39/39 points on this project, with comments from the instructors as follows: “As a group you came across as an authority on the subject matter and did a great job on this. You have a well-defined audience and solid understanding of their behaviors. Awesome job on the keyword research; you also provided thorough SEO recommendations. The website architecture was thoughtful, the wireframe layout was well-executed, and the website copy was well written.”
Project 4: Nugget Markets



My Role: Social Media Campaign Strategist

Tasks Involved: Assist Local Company to Build Its Reputation as a Place Where Employees Love to Work and a Brand that Customers Love to Patronize Through Creation of a Social Media Campaign; Identify Campaign Objectives, Optimum Social Media Channels, and Target Audience Segments; Develop Creative Ads for Each Social Media Channel; Conduct Keyword Research; Using Data Analytics and Budget Information, Create Visual Charts to Support Campaign Objectives and Identify Return on Ad Spend

Digital Marketing Bootcamp Final Project


My Role: As the Team Project Manager, I drove the project to ensure that the marketing plan and campaign strategies presented were realistic, attainable, aligned with the objectives of the program, the results would yield the desired increases, and that the program would be sustainable. I also served as Head of Workflow Automation and Creative Design.
Tools Used: Google Analytics; SEMRush; WordPress; Social Media Analytics; Google Sheets; Answer the Public; MOZ; Wordstream.
The situation: A business is experiencing 0% return on ad spend because marketing costs are going up. They are looking for a marketing proposal that will increase the return on ad spend over time.
Tasks Involved: Our team was tasked with developing and presenting a compelling multi-channel loyalty program proposal to incentivize new and existing customers to purchase more products, more often, thereby increasing the return on ad spend.
Details: Develop Campaign Objectives, Marketing Strategies, Digital Channel Plan, and Identify KPIs; Conduct Keyword Research, Including Competitor Research; Create Loyalty Program Logo and Landing Page Wireframe Layout; Develop Paid Search, Display Ad, Social Media, and Retargeting Campaigns; Create Data Visualizations to Represent Present Status and Support Projected Increases in Sales, Repeat Customers, and Return on Ad Spend; Develop and Deliver Slide Deck as Though Presenting to Potential C-Suite Executives.
The result: A compelling presentation and a score of 37 out of 36 (completion of bonus assignment resulted in additional point). Instructor comments: “Great job on the wireframe –it had an awesome layout and solid CTAs. The automated workflow info presented was clear. You guys as a group were awesome presenters, and well-prepared, you seem to stay consistent with explanations, and your presentation was easy to follow. You guys also did well explaining the data, and the display ads were attention-getting. Great work on this project. I can tell you guys put a lot of thought and energy into this and it shows in the output.”
